Kool Aid Money...Sham(e)-pain lifestyle

This topic i know everyone will be able to relate to/Hell you may have even been that person for a while/I'm talking about the people living above their means/The ones that always need help paying a bill/Always need you to spot them for lunch/the one that looks fly but can't pay a damn bill to save they life/ Yes I'm talking to you if you have to ask yourself if your the one I'm talking about/ The one's with the Kool-Aid money and the Sham(e)-pain lifestyle/

I know we all like nice things and we all in our minds want to to keep up with the people that are "doing it"/ The TRUTH is we all wont be able to live up to the standards of a celebrity or your normal person that makes 70,000 a year/

Many of the people reading this will be fresh out of college or entering college...word of advice you don't need to be ballin' yet/

you have time to make the impression you want on the world/Its about the bigger picture of where you will be in 10 years after you get that paper from college/Not what your doing in college..now some people start early and do great things but by no means are you behind if you start after college/

I just worry about our people when I see us spending money on things we can't afford/ If you make 30,000 a year stop trying to spend 45,000 a year/

you know what I'm talking about:

-buying the shoes for $150 on the 29th knowing your rent is due the 1st

-buying draws at Victoria secret for whatever silly amount (And no it doesn't matter if it is the semi-annual sale and you can get however many draws for $5 dollars)/

- stop saying you have money to spare when you know you can't rub nickels together/

stop trying to live on the level of others when your not able to.../that goes for talent wise as well/

Lets be honest you know when you suck/I know when you suck/

Its time we all start being honest with ourselves and start the journey with one step and carry on from there/

Set some standards for yourself and try to reach for those goals... and when you do that set new one's/That's how you get better ... crazy concept I know/

It is a damn sham(e) and a pain in the neck when you fail at trying to be part of the INcrowd/

Grow up peter pan... count chocula... /no one cares what the hell you are doing with your money/

Break up with yourself (Don't lose yourself in yourself)

I was talking to a friend of mine about a dating situation she was in/
She had expressed that she liked a guy but she couldn't figure out why it was that she acted like she didn't/
Now I know we all stay in situations longer than we need to or put up with more than we should/
But she didn't even allow it to get to that stage..it had only been one date/
finally she told me the guy doesnt want to talk to her in the same manner that he once did/
I expressed these words of advice to her/

People get so caught up on being hurt that they hurt themselves before the growth of happiness can even happen/ If you walk into a situation thinking you know everything about a person you have never spoken to longer than it takes for you to say the alphabet/
how can you expect to be happy with someone else?/
Break up with yourself/

the following steps may need to be repeated more than once for those of you that believe you're never wrong or just plain stubborn

Take yourself to a public place (movies,out to eat, etc)/
order your favorite meal (eat)/
come up with some excuse why you have to leave/
Go home sit there with your tears as your only company/
Sulk and stop doing the things you enjoy (because lets face it you can't really enjoy life without the person that makes it worth living)/
After about 3 days of that go on a date with someone else and do everything they want to do (because you dont deserve to be happy because you have already messed up your happiness, might as well focus on someone else and their happiness)/
After however many attempts you will notice a difference in you (if it is the right person and you will know)/
You will smile more/
Laugh a little harder/
try a little harder/
give a little more to get more/
Hell you might even be happy with someone else other than the lonely sheets you curl up in at night or day/
Asking God to send you someone that understands you/
Can finish you sentences (and whatever other fairytale adjectives you can think of)/
is really silly because it takes years for people to get to that level in some cases it only takes months/
Stop trying to get all the reward without putting in the work for it/

And can we stop acting like dating is not a "try-out"/
It is true a person is always proving themselves to be another/
Some people may not agree and that is ok/
But your probably the person that has no mate and gives all the advice to those that do have someone/
Feeding them the mess that a relationship isn't suppose to be filled with work between two people/
Look... the very idea of being with someone for longer than a day takes work because you have to fight the overwhelming feeling of wanting to do the things you want to do for yourself/

And I know I have been guilty of it a few times in my life thinking i am right when i am wrong/
Now that we have that out the way/
Never take yourself too seriously and miss out on the fun that life has to offer/

This one is short today/
What is this I hear that 50 cent is coming out with yet another album that will disappoint the public/
And of all days your going to drop the same day Jay-Z is coming out/
Maybe he missed the album sales numbers between he and Kanye/
50 just stop..ok we get it you got rich and almost died trying/
Standing ovation for the greatest and biggest hustle since Columbus took the "New world" when you sold Vitamin water for 450 million/
Do you really need to keep rapping?/
NO/
And the fact that you even think that you have the fire power to sell with Jay makes me want to throw my head back and laugh until I pass out from the lack of Oxygen to my head/
50 really give it up..../
just ride into the sunset and spend your money on rims and GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG-Unit

I am firm believer that God made us all the way he wants us to be/I also believe he has given us the ability to make changes to ourselves to allow us to get as close to perfection as we can (without going crazy)/This post may get some people mad or may even make [people stop talking to me....I dont care/ If you get mad to the point that you have to do that...you know Im right and you know your ridiculous/

People please be yourselves all the time/ STOP TELLING people your going to start acting like something other than yourself/ If your nice be nice but learn from the lessons people teach you/Just because someone doesnt do something you want them to do doesnt mean it is time for you to change/And that doesnt mean you start acting like someone else to prove some point that will never be proven because at the end of the day you have to talk it out. If you are mad GROW UP and say so and have the balls to say to the person via phone or face. Look I am not calling anyone out and I know even with me saying that someone is going to think I am (Silly people or insecure people you choose)/I'm just asking that people stop getting mad over things that dont and will never amount to the importance that you want it to/

So in the end if your not an asshole by the time your in high school (and that doesnt mean YOU think your one...I mean the person that knows you best has to tell you more than once...or fellow asshole.. ie Your mom,Dad,best friend, etc) give it up/Being an asshole although is the "popular thing" to be (T.I,Kanye, Ryan Moore,Me,Corey Johnson,Brandon Johnson,) be yourself/ This is not for the soft at heart/Think about it if God in all his glory wanted you to be that way he would have made you that way/ And how in the hell do think that screams confidence to the person you are trying to convince to be in your life if you are changing all the time/ Stop...just stop it is getting/gotten old/
i know it is hard to believe we really do like you the way you are if you stay that way/

Here is what you do if their becomes a problem between you and another person (that is clearly displaying a personality different from yours)/ From the jump just let them know what you wont go for/Stick by it/
And before you know it..You too will have R-E-S-P-E-C-T from others that dont really give a damn if your mad

It has been brought to my attention that we have a failure to communicate/somewhere along the way someone spread a rumor that it was ok to be ignorant/that it is ok to believe in the unbelievable and claim to see the unseen/once again allow me to say sorry for any hurt feelings developed by reading this/


Where did it go wrong/who in the hell started the rumor that Obama is the anti-christ/well whomever did....shut up/what in the hell makes you believe you are so wonderful and great that God has picked you to show us the anti-christ/your not...you sound ignorant when you and your little buddies say you hope he fails/and if it is because he black or because he looks like whatever middle eastern person your an idiot/ don't you know if he fails we fail/ duh...I don't know what has to be done for us to come together a country/well I guess we need to a major event that will change history/we have to make sure lots of people die/ that'll get 'em on our side/no it doesn't matter because has been going since the first term of George W./ what are we at war for again/ And if Obama is the anti-Christ and is all powerful do you really think doing anything other than praying is going to save your sorry ass/

First let me start by saying hello...Hello

I was inspired to create this blog by a friend of mine (big ups to The Ryan)/Here on this spot I have to bring the light to the subjects of the world/ To often ignorant things are said about music,poetry,Obama,or just being "Deep"/it really has taken it's toll on the minds of the youth on what is inspiring enough to believe in/So I guess it is my duty to help out along with the rest of the people (the one's that don't give a damn about others opinions) to shine my light on those of us that are "Deep"/or believe their top 10 list of Emcees is the end all be all/For those that don't listen to the lyrics and dance to the beats and call themselves hip hop heads/this blog is for you/

Where did it Get whack?/When did hip hop get defined by the multiple letters of words that are strung together to make no sense?/Did that even make sense?/maybe it was when they allowed some fool the right to define expression as fitting in to a box/I have been listening to music for as far as I can remember/and I know it isn't suppose to sound like it does now (thanks to artist like Vanilla Ice and soulja boy tell 'em)/ What does it say to the world that we have allowed these FOOLS (and I use that word because Im being nice) the light to shine even more ignorance/As if President B hadn't killed enough of our cells with his speeches/Now we have people to question for the decline of intelligence in our children/Ask yourself...why does soulja boy go Platinum in a matter of days and Common can't sell out the living room of an old industrual home in Atlanta?/And why are we still having the discussion of who the greatest rapper alive is?/I will clear this up for everyone/

To put it simply ignorance is the reason Soulja Boy out sells Common/Its Common Sense lol/
what else could explain, "Hop up out the bed turn my swag on" out selling any common song (with the exception of this last album, common that was some bull and you know it stick to the thought provoking lyrics)/keep the beats from Kanye or whoever did the BE album and Finding Forever album (and yes i know it was Kanye just reminding you of the better times of hip hop when expression was outside a box/

Ummm last I checked Jay-Z was still alive and rapping/So although everyone is passing the tourch to Wayne it is done in vein/Let me clear this up now I don't dislike Wayne/He is talented and when it is said and done he will be one of the best/I just think he needs to shut up and let time pass so he can have more Classic hits instead of just hits/A friend once said, Lil wayne is like cheesecake. He is good but you know in your heart too much of him can't be good for you/
